Hash tags should say everything about a brand. Lately, KTM has been splashing about the #adventureharder handle an awful lot when it comes to its adventure bikes. But if the hat fits, well, wear it with pride — and KTM sure is proud of its adventure bike range.

The 620 Adventure in 1997 was KTM’s first dedicated adventure machine and kicked off an extensive lineage that was immediately followed by the revered 640 Adventure. From there it’s been a constant barrage of new KTM ADV bike designations: 950, 990, 690, 1190, 1090, 1290 and most recently 790 models.

Now it’s time for the latest chapter in KTM’s #adventureharder story with the arrival of the 890, which includes a trio of models: Adventure, Adventure R and Adventure R Rally.

The new 890s replace the 790s, which proved to be surprisingly short-lived.
