Kia ora!

Doesn’t life sometimes feel like a whirlwind? Last week, I caught a sneaky preview ofmusical (believe the hype – it’s enchanting!), then jumped on a plane for a long weekend away in my new favourite part of the country, Golden Bay. The weather wasn’t exactly golden, but I squeezed in a few hikes and a lot of wine. All good so far, right? Well, I paid for my time off with an inbox that was full to bursting and a mountain of overdue household chores. Even after a couple of late nights at my desk, followed by even later nights washing and vacuuming, I’m still not on top of things. But now I’ve read about everything Laura Tupou, the new face on , has on her plate, I’ve decided I can’t complain – and the pregnant star isn’t moaning either, despite needing a bucket under the desk while she covers Kanoa Lloyd’s maternity leave! Turn to page 18 for a refreshing read about a woman who’s fulfilling both her career goals and her family dreams, and have a great week.
