Welcome!
husband Simon and I were lucky enough to spend a week in Adelaide last month, partly to do some hiking. My trusty Akubra hat came with me, and even though I team, and was bowled over by how many of them had also lost things they thought they’d never see again. And like me, strangers had stepped up and returned what they’d lost. A few years ago, Kathryn was delighted to receive a lovely gold necklace from her best friends for her birthday. ‘But not long after, I lost it on the bus,’ she said. ‘It meant so much to me, but it was teeny tiny so I couldn’t imagine how I’d get it back.’ But get it back she did. As with my hat, a fellow passenger had found it and handed it in. Then Amber told us about great track record, having her mobile phone returned to her not once, but twice, after losing it at two different train stations. ‘The second time, I had $100 in cash in the case and it was still there when I got it back!’ said a delighted Amber. I know many of our readers will have similar stories. So to all the lovely people who take the trouble to return lost things - I want to send a massive and heartfelt thank you!
