Börger Bioselect RC25 slurry separator: Divide and conquer

When it comes to the resurging interest in slurry separation there is no single reason why but several — most of which are already well known. However, in case you're not too familiar with the process of splitting livestock slurry into a thin liquid and solid fibre, then here's a brief recap:

• Separating can free up about 10-25% of your slurry storage as the fibre is removed.

• The solid material is suited to stacking and, depending on the regulations where you're based, can be simply stored on a concrete pad… or it may need a covered area with effluent catchment.

• The solid/fibre material can be more easily transported over longer road distances and used
