Dead librarians wanted

edwood Press is a new US press specialising in speculative fiction. Editors Ann and Donald Wycoff,. They seek ‘tales of doom, magic, revenge, monsters, premature burial, psychopaths, hideous technologies, betrayal, ghosts, gargoyles and other monsters’ and they want them ‘set in vistas ranging from today in the house next door to forgotten cities drowned in time past or burning in spaces between future ages.’ Give them ‘dark stories involving magic, gargoyles and the theme of premature burial or involuntary confinement. ’They will accept mixed-genre short stories ‘so long as the horror is there.’ and both editors like ‘a little science fiction and other genres to leaven our horror.’
