    IN PICTURES taken earlier this year, the nine-year-old in the superhero T-shirt smiles at his mom – a typical little boy who’d come home dusty and happy from a soccer match with his friends.

    But those carefree days are a thing of the past for Rodwell Khomazana now. His life changed in a few harrowing minutes when he was mauled in the face by a hyena while at an all-night church service with his grandmother in May.

    Rodwell, who’s from Zaka, about 350km from Harare, was asleep when the hyena attacked him. It’s unclear whether he was outside or inside the church – and the details are not what
