You’ve recently resurfaced after a decade away. Why?
“The timing just felt right. The first iteration of the band fell apart pretty quickly, which left a lot unresolved, not only personally but also in terms of the amount of material that was left unused. With the pandemic having upended everyone’s schedules, it gave us time to not only revisit that old material but put pen to paper on new music, and I think we were all surprised at just how quickly we fell back into a groove; it did not feel like a fortnight had elapsed, let alone the better part of a decade.”
Given what you achieved early in your career, does that influence how you position yourselves today?
