It’s a little scary but I think it’s going alright,” says Jason Isbell down the line from Oklahoma, where the guitarist is on the set of director Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film adaptation, Killers Of The Flower Moon, about the birth of the FBI. It’s not a bad gig for a novice making his first forays into the world of acting. But did Isbell not fancy a turn in something a little more low-profile before jumping head-first into a major motion picture helmed by the one of the most respected directors of his generation? “Yeah it’s a pretty short resume, for sure,” he admits. “But it seems like a pretty good one!”
