‘She was shy when she didn’t know people’

One of Diana, Princess of Wales’s many endearing qualities was how she made us all feel we knew her, but when we listen to the anecdotes of those who came into close contact with her, her magic truly comes alive. Her brother Earl Spencer has some of the most precious memories, of course. In a recent TV interview, he said that he visits her grave at the family estate in Althorp several times a year. “Every landmark day, such as birthday, Mother’s Day, I always take flowers. I do go a lot and it’s an oasis of calm and it’s a lovely place to go,” he revealed .
