    Mint Records Incomplete

    ■ It is my understanding that Mint records don’t list such rarities as 1823 large cents, the unique 1870-S half dime and many 19th century proof coins. Didn’t they try to keep accurate records?

    You can add the 1849-O Seated Liberty quarter and 1870-S Seated Liberty silver dollar to that list.
