So what does one do having had a number of Ferrari Atelier “Tailor Made” cars, but still needing something to fulfil your desire for a truly bespoke model? In simple terms, one takes the next step and goes for a SP (Special Project) example. This is exactly what John Collins did when he wanted a bespoke example, which resulted in his SP3JC, well actually a pair of them to be precise!
If the name sounds familiar it is not surprising, as he is the founder and owner of Talacrest Ltd, the renowned classic Ferrari specialist in Surrey, England. Although his name is strongly associated with the classic models, with a vast number of rare and desirable examples having passed through his hands, including the likes of 250 Testa Rossas and 250 GTOs, since the company was formed in 1987, he has also been a regular Ferrari
