SHOOTING’S ASSET

Like your correspondent Francesco Carnevali, I do not normally write to magazines ornewspapers(Letters, 2 June). But having read his letter, I thought I would make an exception. I have known Alasdair Mitchell for the best part of 50 years and have found his Shooting Timesarticles to be informative, well researched and amusing, covering a vast range of rural subjects. Alasdair is a great asset to the shooting community at all levels and his defence of our shared interest must not go unrecognised.
