Cape Cod Writers Center Conference

The 2021 Cape Cod Writers Center Conference will be held online from August 5 to August 7. The conference features workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as mentoring sessions with faculty and a talk on trends in publishing. The faculty includes poet Enzo Silon Surin, fiction writers Edith Maxwell, Nahid Rachlin, and Adam Reid Sexton, creative nonfiction writer Linda Joy Myers, and agent Tom Miller (Liza Dawson Associates). General registration is $80 and includes a yearlong membership to the Cape Cod Writers Center (registration is free for current members). Workshop tuition is $60. Manuscript consultations are available for an additional $150. The general registration deadline is August 2. The deadline to register for a manuscript consultation is July 26. Colrain Poetry Manuscript Conference

The Colrain Poetry Manuscript Conference will be held online from August 6 to August 9. The conference features evaluation and discussion of book-length and chapbook-length poetry manuscripts with poets, editors, and publishers. The faculty). The cost of the session is $1,000. Using only the online application system, submit three to four poems and a brief biography. There is no application fee. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
