It was with some fanfare that The Newt in Somerset opened in 2019. The brand-new hotel and garden presented a wonderful story: a historic property that had fallen into disrepair had been returned to life and made available for the enjoyment of many. Two years on, the garden has had time to settle into itself – yet this is a continually evolving space and even in this short interval new elements have been included here.
