In 1987, the Top End of Australia had a killer wreaking havoc on the Kimberley region. Retirees Marcus and Winifred Bullen were on a driving holiday with their son, Lance, and his wife, Joan, when the killer first struck.
The family had already been on the road for several weeks and planned to explore the Northern Territory, before making their way towards Perth. On June 8, 1987, the Bullens arrived in the tiny town of Timber Creek and camped for the night at the Wayside Inn and Caravan Park.
