COOK TURNING UP THE HEAT bjkhbkkjkbkjkj JKbk kjbkkjhbkjkbkjhk ON TIN-TOP TITLE CHARGE

In any ordinary championship, notching two wins from three races should be enough to hand a driver the title advantage. Not so in the British Touring Car Championship.

Josh Cook walked away from the opening meeting at Thruxton in earlyApril with three fastest laps, two victories and, incredibly, second place in the title chase behind Jake Hill in the MB Motorsport Ford Focus.

He is, though, only one point adrift.

BTC Honda Civic Type R driver Cook has been around the block in the BTCC and he is edging up to having had 200 races under his belt.

He knows there is a rhythm to the path towards the summit of any season.
