Oppo Find X3 Pro

With Huawei still reeling from the sanctions imposed by the US and other Western governments concerned about the smartphone giant’s links to the Chinese Communist Party, rival makers are making hay while the sun shines. Oppo is a case in point: while this Chinese firm is still not so widely known in the UK, it’s now the biggest smartphone maker in the mammoth Middle Kingdom, with 40,000 employees.

Oppo’s latest flagship phone is the Find X3 Pro, and while the name is, frankly, a bit rubbish, there is a lot in this handset to appeal to photographers. It can run the full range of Android and Google applications too, without having to resort to work-arounds like Huawei has been forced to do.
