The final score in the second Test at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria was 28-25 to the Springboks, giving them an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-Test series. The aggregate points tally was actually 74-63 in the Lions’ favour after they comfortably won the final fixture, but that could not alter the result of the series itself.
