    The international Grindstone Short Story Prize 2021 has prizes of £500, £200 and four £50 for shortlisted entries, for original, unpublished short fiction in any genre for adult readers between 1,000 and 3,000 words. The top twenty entries will appear in Grindstone’s annual anthology. The entry fee is £12. The closing date is 1 August. Website: www.grindstoneliterary.com
