F1 mulls Indy rule
The FIA is to look at whether IndyCar’s rule for deleting lap times from drivers causing qualifying red flags is suitable for Formula 1 after Charles Leclerc’s Monaco pole position was cemented by his late-session crash. In series such as IndyCar and IMSA any driver causing a qualifying stoppage loses their fastest times.
