Eggcelerate!

is a game based around a primary goal so ridiculous, so nonsensical, soTV yet. Almost certainly a design that started with the title and worked backwards from there, is a PC game that tasks you with negotiating a series of increasingly tortuous courses without fumbling the fragile egg from the basket mounted atop your car. It’s also a delivery vector for increasingly awful egg puns. What begins as a deceptively simple exercise in driving smoothly becomes a fiendishly difficult obstacle course, peppered with traps designed to launch your egg into the lower stratosphere. There are also a host of in-game achievements awarded for things like playing keepy-uppies with an errant ovum on your car bonnet. Deeply silly, no frills and almost certain to outstay its welcome quickly.
