2 Shoot a seven-day photo challenge

Thank you for posing the seven-day black-and-white photo challenge in issue 240, which I have really enjoyed doing. I can’t quite believe how liberating it feels to remove the colour from an image and explore tones, textures and shapes. It has really encouraged me to look at the world through fresh eyes, and I feel it’s providing a grounding for truly creating images rather than using images as a means of representation.

I’ve selected seven readers, and would love it if you could give me some feedback. They were all taken on my Canon EOS M, which I have just upgraded to the Mark II.
