Gather your supplies

• 598 x 2154mm mirrored wardrobe door
Head trim 89 x 19mm dressed pine
Side and base trims 30 x 18mm dressed pine
Glazing bars 12mm tri quad moulding

You’ll also need

Tape measure; mitre box; handsaw; scrap timber; nail; pencil; clamps; jigsaw; sandpaper; undercoat; painting equipment; black spray paint; caulking gun; black gap filler; square; metal primer; chain; screw eye; snap hook

Here’s how

STEP 1 Determine length of short glazing bars by taking the width of the door, subtracting 60mm for the side trims then dividing by two. Use mitre box and sharp handsaw to cut 45° angle on 1 end of each bar and cut the other end square.

STEP 2 To scribe arc on head trim, set up a compass using a piece of scrap timber. Nail timber to a block 580mm from 1 end, then place head
