New Cupra Born brings sporty style to the electric hatch class

SEAT’S sporty spin-off Cupra has launched its first electric model, the Born. It’s a direct rival for the Volkswagen ID.3 and will be on sale in the UK in 2022, priced from around £32,000.

The Cupra Born is based on the same MEB platform as the ID.3, so it shares the same battery and electric motor options. The entry-level car has a 45kWh
