CELESTE’S MOTHER COURAGE My kids need me more than ever

I’ve lost a lot, but I’ve got a lot to live for,” says Celeste Jones of the unfathomable amount of grief, illness and tragedy her family has faced over 25 years.

It’s an admirable attitude reflecting the strength which has carried Celeste, 56, through the loss of two daughters, raising a son with special needs, finding out she has breast cancer and then learning her beloved husband Dean, 52, has incurable bowel cancer.

Today, the Hastings grandmother has “no time to be sick”.
