Ford truck identity

The May 1 edition of Old Cars was, as always, a great issue, but I have a couple of corrections.

On page 14, the “Weathered Wheels” subject is either a 1935 or 1936 Ford truck. The curvature of the front fenders, the headlamp buckets and the door handle lead me to that conclusion. And, on page 17, the “Vintage Ad of the Week” shows the very early rendition of the 1955 Ford Thunderbird with the Fairlane trim down the side. When production started with “job one,” this trim was deleted.
