IN A country where gender-based violence (GBV) is at its all-time high, dialogues that aim to address it and expand on this conversation are undoubtedly important. And having creatives be a part of the solution by encouraging conversations through the arts is equally crucial.
That is why when director Donavan Marsh inherited a pre-existing project that gave rise to Netflix’s latest original film, , which hit the smalls screen this past Friday, he felt it important to authentically tell this story of human trafficking
