Get them when they’re young

I’ve just come downstairs from putting my two-year-old son to bed and reading his bedtime story. His choice of reading? Amateur Photographer (9 March). We enjoyed flicking through the amazing pictures of the wildlife and talking about the animals together. It gives me an idea for a future article: the exposure triangle for toddlers? Got to get them while they’re young!

The letter by Bill Fisher (AP 9 March) was one of the most cynical and negative I have ever read in your magazine. If that is his opinion of club photography then why bother taking part? As for the three groups
