‘I fell in love with my dress all over again. Our wedding was one of the best days of my life’

As their car drew up to Colshaw Hall, Catherine Tyldesley felt the same flutter of excitement that she had at her wedding on 21 May 2016. Almost five years to the day, her return to the spectacular grade II-listed Jacobean-style manor house in Cheshire with husband Tom Pitfield and their six-year-old son Alfie was the perfect opportunity to relive precious memories.

“Even as we were arriving, I felt so emotional. We haven’t been back here since the wedding,” says 37-year-old Catherine, who brought along her beautiful bespoke ivory Philip Armstrong gown, which has been carefully stored away since the big day.
