y dance career began at the age of 3, and in the fifth grade I got into competitive dance. For me, dance has always been a means of expression and stress relief. Dancing has been there for me during the hardest times in my life when nobody else has. I’ve never competed to beat someone else. I have always sought to push myself and see where my passion could lead me. However, it was not all peaches and cream.
