It was a farm cottage on a hill that really did it. It was old, remote, with incredible sunsets and a pond sitting in a wildflower meadow in the garden. I had to have it. I had to have it despite the fact it could only be accessed by a 4x4 along a mud track through a busy farmyard. One room was so badly designed it had no windows and was unusable.
