ISUZU PIAZZA (1985-1990)
Isuzu became better known in the late Eighties for its range of Trooper 4x4s, but before those came along we had the Piazza – a stylish rear-wheel drive turbocharged coupe that went into production in 1981 but didn’t reach the UK until ’85. Sales were hampered by the original importer going bust, with International Motors then taking over but focusing on the Trooper, hence why just 1662 Piazzas were sold here.
