THE SHOW GOES ON

Around the time of the Melbourne Fashion Festival launch in December 2019 at Government House, I felt a small lump in my neck. I was healthy and feeling great about the festival – sometimes we go into the lead-up feeling challenged, but that year we felt particularly strong. The lump didn’t go away, so I had it checked. I went through the biopsies and by January was diagnosed. It was a real thunderclap of dread, hearing the news. The “you’ve got cancer” conversation doesn’t really go away.
