DANCE OF THE SWANS

fter a year-long live performance hiatus, the will honor the enduring spirit of dance with at the Countess de Hoernle Theater at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton May 8 and 9. Tchaikovsky’s devastatingly beautiful composition and the whimsical costuming will set the stage for the story of Odette and Prince Siegfried, who fight to overcome the cursed evil of sorcerer Rothbart. Staying true to its mission to pair local talent with distinguished dancers from the ballet world, Boca Ballet Theatre has invited American Ballet Theatre principal dancers Skylar Brandt and Aran Bell to lend their talents to the dynamic roles of Odette and Prince Siegfried. Boca Ballet will also broadcast the performance virtually on Saturday for ballet devotees watching from home.
