Sigma launches the fp L

Second iteration of modular camera is optimised for stills photography over shooting video and packs as many megapixels as the mighty Sony A7R IV

Sigma’s first full-frame mirrorless camera turned some heads at launch. With no lens attached, the fp is no bigger than a chunky compact, but its pocket-friendly body belies its serious stills and 4K video shooting capabilities.

Now Sigma has released the second iteration of its distinctive modular camera. While sporting the same form factor as the fp, the fp L boasts a resolution of 61MP, matching Sony’s A7R IV.
