    Model: Reshelled 1990 Racing Green, 1293cc engine

    History: Donor Mini bought as a MiniWorld project and reshelled into BMH Mini bodyshell number 1 in 2003.

    It’s now three years since Sheldon came off the road to have his new 1293cc engine fitted. I know it has taken ages, as Karen keeps reminding me, but I couldn’t see the point in getting Sheldon back on the road during the pandemic chaos. If we’d had a problem it would have meant exposing us and potentially a recovery person to the virus, which I wasn’t happy with. If I had got him on the road there was also a chance, if we go into another lockdown, he would sit around for ages without doing any
