Words of wisdom

ust a note of thanks for the two excellent articles by Roger Parker on crankcase breathing matters in the February and March 2021 issues. Roger’s informative, interesting and very detailed descriptions of why crankcase breathers are needed, the original set-ups on the various A-, B- and C-series engines from BMC and BL, along with the in-house variants, as new environmental regulations emerged during production was very enlightening. I have to admit it was not a subject as well-known to me as other aspects of MG maintenance and, therefore, has proved to be very useful.
