The dating game

would like to respond to the recent letter from Craig Watson regarding the MG centenary [ April 2021]. The MG Car Club, which has a relationship with the Chinese owner of the brand, has long held the view, along with most other MG clubs, that 1923 is indeed the year the first MGs were built and sold. The MG Owners’ Club, the Early MG Society and the MG Octagon Club are states clearly the MGCC’s position.
