BLOCKING DIAGRAMS

THIS LITTLE outfit for babies is perfect for a special occasion - yet it’s perfectly practical, too, as it’s knitted in Debbie Bliss’s machine-washable Rialto DK yarn. Sarah Hatton’s design comprises a cardigan and matching sleeveless tunic dress. Both feature an unusual textured stitch, worked as a band around the bottom of the cardigan, and around waist of the dress. The garments are finished with garter stitch edgings.

DRESS BACK

Using 3.25mm needles and the long-tail or thumb method, cast on 77 (79:81:83:85) sts. Knit 6 rows.
