What a wonderful question! I have a whole family of artistic influencers! As a little girl, I was always out in my dad’s cabinet shop putting together scraps of wood from his original cabinet designs into doll beds, chairs, and couches!

My mom would help me make the coverings. She also taught me how to make clothes for my Midge doll. My mom made beautiful embroidered pillowcases as a young girl that she still treasures, and not a spot on them! Both of my grandmothers were beautiful quilters who loved handwork. I have shared Grandma Lanzer’s cathedral window quilt which I cherish! I am also sharing my dad’s grandfather clock’s sunburst, which has 40 separate pieces! He was well known in northwest Ohio as a talented master
