our feature (AP 13 February) mentioned the printer Adrian Ensor. I recall the occasion, during the 1980s, when, upon receiving an award, he addressed the audience with the words: ‘Take a good look. I’m the last of a dying breed.’ Quite what the statement meant is still puzzling as back in those pre-digital days black & white printing was in its heyday.
