Tira Walsh Push & Pull

Tira Walsh graduated from Unitec, Auckland, with a Masters of Creative Practice in 2018, having made the decision to pursue painting several years after the birth of her fourth child. Since graduating, Walsh has established herself as a formidable talent, exhibiting in a number of group shows. In 2019 she was awarded the Kaipara Wallace Arts Trust Award for her painting Crimewave & Hustle (2018), as well as holding her first significant solo show, ‘Hustle’, at Auckland’s Two Rooms gallery.
