INSERTING ZIPS

In this workshop Simply Sewing’s Senior Technical Editor Roisin walks you through the process of inserting both regular and invisible zips.

Although they might seem like a daunting task, zips can take your projects to a new level and open up the range of projects you can take on. Once you can neatly insert a zip, you can make a range of garments, homewares and accessories. It takes practice but grab a zip and some scrap strips of fabric and follow along with us using the instructions opposite. You just need a little time and patience!
