“Arc Of Life is NOT Yes!”

Since vocalist Jon Davison arrived in Yes in 2012, bassist Billy Sherwood estimates that he’s spent around six months annually away from his LA home, either rehearsing or touring around the world. There’s been no new Yes studio album since the much-maligned Heaven & Earth was released back in summer 2014.

Following 2019’s Royal Affair tour, which crisscrossed North America, Yes have inevitably been off the road involuntarily. However, the Yes camp hasn’t been idle. In the last 12 months, Davison has recorded with The Moody Blues’ John Lodge – the single, , was released last July. Keyboardist Geoff Downes has recently teamed up with songwriter Chris Braide for a fourth Downes Braide Association album, (see page 44), and guitarist and de facto band solo album and published an autobiography.
