BURNING MISTAKE

Lounging around the pool, I was having the time of my life. ‘Another drink, Love?’ my husband, James, 41, asked.

‘Oh, go on then,’ I smiled, barely lifting my head to answer.

We were on a one-week all-inclusive holiday in Lanzarote and for the first time in over 20 years, it was just the two of us.

Usually, our son Daniel comes with us, but now 21, we decided to leave him at home.

We spent the first few days soaking up the sun, eating and drinking together.

Wandering around the town of Costa Teguise, we were having a wonderful time away.

Then, on the third day, we
