F1’S BRAVE NEW WORLD

Formula 1 will get a complete reset in 2022 when a dramatic raft of new technical regulations will alter the shape of the cars (below) in the hope of closer, more exciting racing.

Some onlookers constantly bemoan the complex aerodynamics of F1 machines, which preclude them following too closely which, in turn, militates against overtaking. This has often come under the microscope, but rarely so intensely as now.
