FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK

Dear FYSA,

I just signed with an agent with my urban fantasy debut and in our call, I mentioned I also have an adult horror and an adult historical fiction complete. The agent asked to read and then reached out to say he loved all of them and would be shopping them simultaneously in order to give me the best chance at placing one of them. When I talked to my critique group, none of them had heard of this technique before. Is this something you do?
