What’s coming next from Shimano?

t had been widely speculated that Shimano would mark its 100th birthday with the release of a new iteration of its flagship Dura-Ace groupset, which itself has 47 candles on its metaphorical cake. But as the Only 2,000 will be available, and if you want one you’ll have to pre-register, enter a lottery – and pay 10,000 yen (£66.50). Applications will be accepted up until 27 May, with the winners announced from 7 June.
