Slim Aarons had had enough.
A combat photographer during World War II, Aarons had experienced his share of horror. No more, he promised himself. So after the war he dusted himself off, washed the wicked from his eyes and determined he would photograph only “attractive people in attractive places doing attractive things.”
And so he did.
While working for , , and other magazines, Aarons photographed the rich and famous: Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier in Monaco;
