Make your PC quieter

The harder it works, the hotter your computer will get. If left unchecked, this can cause Windows to crash and possibly even damage components such as your processor and graphics card. Your PC prevents this from happening using a combination of fans and heat sinks to dissipate all that built-up heat.

The downside is that those fans generate noise. Even if you don’t notice the fans whirring away when there are other distracting sounds around you, they’ll be the thing you hear in an otherwise silent room.
